They basically owe everything to two of their sibings, Emily and Taylor. Emily, Christian's older sister, got him a job at the Missionary Training Center where he met Taylor Zundel, Katie's older brother. One day as they were talking, Taylor told Christian he should ask out his sister Katie. So he gave Christian her phone number and Christian said he'd get in contact with her. Katie, having heard so many good things about Christian, postponed all of the dates guys were asking her out on in anticipation that Christian would call, but he never did...
With a little help from Peter, Christian's roommate, Katie and Christian met officially for the first time and spent time going on walks and bike rides in early March. They had their first official date about ten days after seeing each other ever day from the day they met. After a nice meal at Thai Village, they went to Rock Canyon Park where Christian, being the brave man he is, kissed Katie for the first time!
The heavens rejoiced and the rest is history. The two fell deeper and deeper in love with each day they spent together.
On July 4th, 2014 they returned to Rock Canyon Park for a picnic where Christian asked Katie to marry him, where she emphatically exclaimed "OF COURSE!"
They've been happily in love for six amazing months and look forward to an eternity of love and laughter and hope you can add to that joy by attending the wedding reception held in their honor, August 19th, 6:30pm at the Provo Library.
